What are package details?

Package Details in Cova's POS system are the vital details of each product based on the BioTrack/METRC tag. These details encompass batch numbers, cannabinoid profiles, strain info, and expiration dates. Their primary role is to ensure compliance with stringent regulations and to maintain an unbroken chain of custody from cultivation to sale. How to edit package details in Cova

1. Navigate to Cova Hub; log in to account

2. On the left side of the screen, clip the hamburger icon (three line),

1. Under “Inventory”, click on “Inventory On Hand by Package”

1. Select your location; then you can filter by Classifications, products, Rooms, and Brands; Click  “Show in stock only”.

1. Selecting no filters will give you visibility of all products.

2. Click “Run Report”; your store inventory will appear in the window below.

1. You can use the search boxes to quickly find specific items; you can also type or scan the package ID of the product you are looking for.

1. To edit a package ID, click on it; a new window will open with the package detail fields.

2. In the new window, click “Edit”; enter the package details, and click save.

1. Strain: For bucketed items, entering the strain here will make the strain appear for our online menus.

2. Expiration Date: Entering the expiration date here will appear on inventory reports.

3. THC: Entering the THC amount here will appear on our online menus.
