Unlimited Extracts Faces Potential License Revocation Due to Multiple Violations
The New Mexico Cannabis Control Division (CCD) is contemplating disciplinary action against Unlimited Extracts, LLC, following a series of alleged violations. The company, which holds License No. CCD-MICB-2024-0185, faces possible license revocation, fines, or other disciplinary measures due to numerous infractions discovered during compliance inspections. If Unlimited Extracts fails to request a hearing within 20 days, the penalties will be imposed without the opportunity for judicial review.
The violations include operating without the proper local permits, selling cannabis outside of licensed retail areas, and failing to comply with the Hemp Manufacturing Act. Additional charges involve improper use of the state-required logo, failure to verify customers' identities, and neglecting to use the state's track-and-trace system for cannabis products.
The list of violations continues, with the company failing to maintain necessary inventory reconciliation and sales records, ignoring limited access area requirements, and not installing a compliant security system. Furthermore, CCD inspectors noted a lack of cameras and digital surveillance in critical areas, improper labeling of cannabis products, and several other breaches of state regulations.
The CCD gathered extensive evidence through compliance reports, photographic documentation, and interviews with the company. The company must act swiftly by requesting a hearing or potentially face severe penalties, including license revocation.
