Cranium Cannabis Co. and Nearby Businesses Targeted in Weekend Break-Ins

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – A North Valley business plaza fell victim to multiple break-ins over the weekend, including one at Cranium Cannabis Co., where burglars used an axe to force entry. The suspects broke through a wall early Sunday morning and were caught on surveillance cameras stealing clothes, glassware, and lighters.

The break-in at Cranium Cannabis was one of several that occurred in the plaza. Another business, Hype ABQ Nutrition, was hit early Saturday morning when thieves used a sledgehammer to smash a hole in the back wall. The thieves stole $200 in cash and caused additional property damage. Despite previous security measures like metal bars, the business owner said burglars are finding new ways to break in.

A third business in the same plaza also sustained damage, but no entry was made. The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating the incidents and has yet to determine if the same individuals were responsible for all the break-ins.

Business owners are left frustrated and concerned about their safety after facing repeated burglaries. Be sure to visit if your in the area, 4501 4th st NW 87107.
