Our Process: From Soil to Flower

We built our own soil from scratch using a meticulous mix of:

3-Year-Old Chicken Compost
Peat Moss & Perlite (though we prefer pumice)
Soil Inoculum with Humates
Alfalfa Meal, Gypsum & Leaf Mold

After weeks of preparation, we top-dressed with a mix of craft blend and build-a-bloom, plus an alfalfa ferment for optimal nutrient absorption.

Fermentation for Terpenes & Microbial Resilience

We emulsify prickly pear before fermentation to evenly distribute its benefits, enhancing microbial diversity and strengthening our plants against the harsh desert sun. While not nutrient-dense, it serves as a microbial powerhouse, reinforcing the biome with beneficial bacteria.

Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB) & Sustainable Farming

LAB is a game-changer in our garden. We create a powerhouse serum using rice wash, milk, and molasses, a staple in natural farming.

Benefits:
- Prevents botrytis & powdery mildew
- Boosts soil microbial activity
- Enhances fermented plant & fruit juices

Even the leftover cheese byproduct is used as a probiotic for livestock and human consumption.

Hemp: More Than Just Flower

Processed through a wood chipper, hemp stalks are versatile and nutrient-rich, ideal for:

Livestock Bedding
Composting & IMO (Indigenous Microorganisms)
Water Retention Barriers

However, caution is key—cannabis naturally uptakes heavy metals, so excessive use in compost may lead to toxicity in smokeable flower crops.
