The New Mexico Cannabis Control Division (CCD) has issued a Notice of Contemplated Action against Duke Family LLC, operating as "W**d World," citing a series of alleged violations under Case No. 2024-020. The business, which has reported revenue earnings between March and November 2024, now faces the possibility of license suspension or revocation due to multiple regulatory violations.

Located at Fox Cave near Ruidoso, W**d World operates as both a wholesale dispensary and a consumption lounge according to there Facebook page, catering to locals and tourists alike. In 2021, a license under the same name reported $124,400 in earnings between April and August, however linked to a separate address in Ruidoso.

  • Operating Without a License
    Reportedly engaged in cannabis sales on multiple occasions without an active state license, including operating with an expired license due to unpaid taxes.

    The company allegedly repackaged cannabis products without obtaining the necessary state and local manufacturer permits.

    Weed World failed to notify the CCD of changes to its operating premises, violating rules requiring formal modification applications.

    Inspections revealed missing inventory reconciliation records and discrepancies between physical inventory and the state's tracking system (BioTrack).
