2024-2025: New Mexico Market Update
New Mexico’s industry wrapped up 2024 with Schwazze emerging as the top operator, boasting $3.67 million in total sales. Following closely are Oasis Co. with $3.36 million, PVP at $2.97 million, and Chadcor (operating as Top Crop/Dark Matter) with $2.57 million. PurLife secured fifth place with $2.26 million in revenue. Mango in Sunland Park made a notable debut, pulling in nearly $100,000 in just two weeks, while market shifts saw declines from industry leaders like Dark Matter, PVP, R. Green Leaf, P37, and Old Gods, raising speculation that new players like Mango or Field of Dreams gained ground.
2025: The Year of the C-Store Dispensary?
The new year may herald a significant retail transformation in New Mexico's market. Urban Wellness and others are introducing "express" dispensaries, emphasizing quick, no-frills shopping experiences. These convenience-store-inspired operations focus on efficiency and minimal marketing to appeal to time-conscious, value-driven customers. As delivery and distribution expand across the state, this streamlined approach could redefine retail, positioning New Mexico as a major hub for innovation in the industry.
